How We Match a Section to Your Door
Take a photo of the whole door and a close-up of the damage. Add the label if you can find one on the door or on the inside edge of a panel. We use the model, the panel shape, the color and the door size to look for a match, then confirm the part before the visit.
The bottom section takes most of the hits and the most moisture. Near the ocean, damp air can rust the lower edge of a steel panel, so we check the bottom edge and the seal along with the dent. If the damage is more than skin deep, we show you where.
Panels Work With the Rest of the Door
A new section changes the door's weight a little, and the spring has to carry it. After the swap we check the balance, the hinges and the rollers. If anything is worn, we point to spring repair, track repair or general door repair. When too much is damaged, a new door may be the better spend.

Can you replace just one damaged section?
Often, yes, as long as a matching section is still available for your door model. Send a photo of the damage and the label on the door or the inside edge of a panel. If no match exists, we talk through the options before you decide.
Will the new panel match the color of my old door?
We aim to match the model, the shape and the color, but sun and weather change a door over time. An older door may look slightly different next to a new section. We tell you what to expect before the part is ordered.
Is a dent still safe to leave alone?
A shallow dent that does not catch on the track may only be cosmetic. A crease, a crack or a bulge can weaken the section and strain the hinges and rollers around it. Stop using the door if it rubs or leans, and call us.
How is panel replacement priced?
The price depends on the door model, the color and which section is damaged, so it is quoted on site. You hear it before any work begins, and the diagnostic call is $0 once you approve the repair.
